Crucible Clash

Crucible Clash is a special set that was released on September 5, 2025, which was designed primarily for Sealed play.

Each deck includes a special Archon Power which is active when playing with a deck in the Sealed format. Crucible Clash decks are considered tournament legal, although the Archon Powers are not eligible to be used outside of Sealed play.

The set largely features reprints, but does include a total of 28 Archon Powers, as well as 56 new other cards.

New Set Mechanics

Archon Powers

Archon Powers are a new card type included in each Crucible Clash deck, with each deck having one Archon Power assigned to it. Archon Powers are designed to be used — and are only tournament legal — in Sealed format play, and are not eligible to be used in other formats in official tournament play. The ability on an Archon Power reference card is considered a constant ability that is active for the entirety of the game. Archon Power cards are never shuffled into a deck and cannot be added to a player's hand, archives, discard pile, or purged zone.
